Max Hemingway is a fictional character in the Regents Walk comic series. He is a short boy known for his boisterous nature, and is more commonly known as "Loudmouth Max".
Biography[]
A student at Widow's Perch Elementary, he is a shorter child who looks like he could be a more popular or feared kid's stooge. But he can strike out on his own whenever he wants, and is always looking for the next wild playground shenanigan to chime in on. His parents were both flower children and his wardrobe is stuck in the 1960's and 70's.
Big Blue (Chapter One)[]
He is in the making-fun-of-Margaret group during recess, as one of the kids instigating the whole thing, and exclaims loudly that she has cooties.

Max has been Sam's best friend since preschool, and their parents know each other well. Max frequently hangs out at Sam's Dad's pawn shop downtown.
